Israel was a lot different than we thought it would be... at least what I thought it would be. I imagined a third world desert country with bombs going off everywhere. Man was I wrong! It is gorgeous. Beautiful people everywhere with beautiful scenery. We caught a bus up from the border of Egypt and Israel into Tel Aviv (the capital) then made our way over to Jerusalem. Once we got there we found a cheap hostel in the middle of the Old City of Jerusalem. Its crazy! They have a Christian Quarter a Jewish Quarter a Armenian Quarter and a Muslim Quarter all in the small city. All types of people clash in this small area. Its pretty nutts. Our hostel looked like it was hundreds of years old... We arrived Friday so we spent Saturday (the sabbath) at church and then Sunday we went down to the Dead Sea! Talk about trippy... No matter how hard you tried you would just float there! It was unreal! We spent the day down there then just came back up Jerusalem and prepared for our next adventure... NACHAL YEHUDIYA! I'll try to upload those tonight when we get back!
